Licensing and Permitting

The regulatory process can be lengthy and complicated. Exelon has extensive experience working with regulatory bodies and recently developed and submitted a Combined Operating License Application for a new nuclear power unit in a record 10-months. Exelon Nuclear Partners can work with our partners to ensure efficient and effective application and licensing processes.

Construction

Exelon Nuclear Partners maintains the expertise to oversee construction of new nuclear unit(s). Our process and project management professionals provide the necessary oversight for construction-related matters.

Transition

Before a nuclear unit is ready to be operational, the proper training and procedures must be put into place to assure high-level operations. With the Exelon Nuclear Management Model as a guide to new nuclear projects, the proper programs, tightly defined work processes, staffing and training can be implemented.

Operation

The Exelon Nuclear Management Model provides strong oversight and accountability measures so that constant, daily performance tracking is standard. Accountability serves as the basis for performance benchmarking and analysis, so that each nuclear unit can continuously learn and improve performance.
